Another Start

Take courage. Do not fear. Start a new life tomorrow. Put the old mistakes away, and start anew. I give you a fresh start. Be not burdened. Be not anxious. If My forgiveness were the righteous only, and those who had not sinned, where would be its need?

Remember as I said to Mary of old, "To whom much is forgiven, the same love much."

Why do you fret and worry so? I wait to give you all that is lovely, but your lives are soiled with worry and fret. You would crush My treasures. I can only bless glad, thankful hearts.

The Sinulog festival is one of the grandest and most colorful festival in the Philippines with a very rich history. The main festival is held each year on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City to honor the Sto. Nino, or a child Jesus, who used to be the patron saint of the whole province of Cebu. It is essentially a dance ritual which remember the Filipino people's pagan past and their acceptance of Christianity.

The festival features some the country;s most colorful displays of pomp and pageantry: participants garbed in bright-colored costumes dance to the rhythm of drums, trumpets, and native gongs. The streets are usually lined with vendors and pedestrians all wanting to witness the street-dancing.Aside from the colorful and festive dancing, there is also the SME trade fair where Sinulog features Cebu export products and people around the flock on the treasures that are Cebu.

Sinulog also came to mean a contest featuring contingents from various parts of the country. The Sinulog Contest is traditionally held in the Cebu City Sports Complex, where most of Cebu's major provincial events are held. Sinulog plainly means graceful dance accompanied by drumbeats and a glum holy mass become a crowd-drawing international cultural festival go Cebu.

I tell you frankly I'm not a Catholic but I do respect in your belief. And I also want to share something to all of you and I hope you will be bless. I'm not referring to any churches. According to the Holy Bible in Deuteronomy 5:8 " You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below". And also according to the book of God Calling "Do not expect a perfect church, but find in a church, the means of coming. That alone a matter, then much, that is husk, falls away. Hold it of no account. Grasp the truth and find Me. The true Bread of Life. The lesson of the grain is the lesson of My Church and Me. The real life is all that matters. The outward Church is the husk, but the husk was necessary to present the life-grain to man. Realized that the hearing of Spirit Sound's is more than the hearing of all earth's noises.

SIMPLICITY is the keynote of my kingdom. Choose simple things always love and reverence the humble and the simple. Have only simple things here. Your standard must never be the world's standard..GOD BLESS..

My First Korean Friend

Kim Hyu-Jo a Korean girl and my first Korean friend .Her English name is Emily .At first I’m conscious how to deal with her .Then I asked her a question “Why do you study English in CTU? ‘University offer’. What kind of place is Korea? ‘Korea is very icy’. “Do you like Cebu? ‘Yes, because Cebu is very warm unlike Korea very frosty’. “What is your favorite subject? ‘Math’. Why? She answer me ‘I just like’. “You’re taking up what degree”? ‘Environment Engineering’. “What else do you want to pursue”? ‘Government Officer’.

Emily is a big and modest girl with a healthy body. And I like the way she smile ‘Why’? Charming face and when she smiles her eyes will be missing. Emily is already 21 years old. For me Emily is a brave girl ‘Why’? Because Korea is a far place but she takes her journey to another chapter with new friend and culture everything is different. In our conversation she really tries her best to speak in English you know the sincerity to learn. And I guess Emily is a well provided person. One of her characteristic is being obedient. Emily has a religious family. They go to church together and pray they are pure Roman Catholic. By the way I’m not a roman catholic but I do not expect a perfect church, but find in a church the means of coming. Even if I’m not a catholic but still we all have the same GOD.
